• UN
Ever think, I mean really, about "un". It does not mean "not", it is closer to "no longer". Like undead; it's not, "not"-dead, it's "no longer" dead. I wish we could UN the U.N. I truly believe that America would be better off if we pulled out of the U.N. (United Nations).
The United Nations is like the grown up equivalent of playing house. They sit around, and they make up regulations that do not really do the world any good, they are full of bureaucratic backstabbing, and they spawn nebulous and scandalous programs like, Oil for Food.
Lets show the world that we are better organized, and we can make our own decision. Rather than pander to what is popular in this self appointed governing body, we should kick them out of New York, and let them find a new place to go. One of the biggest reasons they are on OUR land is that they feel secure.\
• Waking up...
For the past few days I have gone to bed around 9-10pm, and woken from 7-9am. It's shocking how much crap you can get done in the morning. Also how one feels compelled to do -stuff- because the rest of the world it up and about. So many things I should do (laundry and dishes); I put off at night because I am "too tired". This morning I am rejuvenated, played some Zuma, listened to HouseMD as my roommate watched it, and did dishes and laundry; -all- after going out and getting breakfast (that all important meal).
• Homework
I need to look through the Syllabus for Professional Skills Development.
I have an Animation Assisngment due.
I have a level due for Systems and Technologies.
I need to buy the book for my Psychology class (I have a quiz on Friday).
• Slicy Slicy
I almost cut my finger off the other day. It was pretty deep. I had to hold pressure on it for close to three hours. I had a few beers, and my blood was a little thinner because of it. I was trying to stab a plastic piggy; he did not want to be stabbed. I can't afford to go in for stitches. Now I have this huge chunk of meet hanging off my finger that is slowly healing, and no longer bleeding. I bought all the stuff I needed at Walgreens to clean a bandage it every day. Well see if it gets infected and falls off. :P
• The persistance of loss.
We always want what we can't have, even when it's not ours to want anymore. A good friend of mine is dying, I cant reach out to her, and she is dating a model. The demon in me wants to crush his skull and laugh as the juice comes out; wisk her away and call in some favors with those who knew me before the fall. Make her better, but at what price. Cancer is a beast even the Fallen have trouble conquering.
