Up In The Air! Loved it! This movie appealed to me on so many levels. Probably because I could relate to being in the airport so much (although not nearly as much as George Clooney, obviously). I mean, seriously, I have a traveling outfit.

Also the movie was so pretty visually. Yay aerial shots of cities!

Just wanted to exclaim my love for old movies. I just finished watching "It Happened One Night." It's from NINETEEN THIRTY FOUR and kept me at rapt attention. Not sex, no drugs, no violence, no crazy CGI. Just an interesting story with awesome talent. Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert each won an Oscar for it and so did the director Frank Capra. At the suggestion of crazykawaii I'm watching Calamity Jane. I am just astounded by Doris Day's talent. She is AMAZING. Bubbly personality, a singer, a dancer, an actress. She is fan-frickin-tastic. I just felt like sharing how much I'm loving her charisma. Go Doris Day! I think I may need to rent her most well-known film, Pillow Talk. . .

Oh my god so I know everyone LOVES "Slumdog Millionaire," but can I just say I didn't? I feel like crying now. Big, wet tears. And not from happiness. That movie completely broke my heart. Look, there it is, on the floor, in pieces.

Last night I watched The Duchess and man oh man am I glad to live in 2009. It's based on a true story about the Duchess of Devonshire and basically the Duke's mistress lived in the same house as them and the Duchess couldn't do a damn thing about it.
