dog days of summer
hey all !! hope August is going well for youu - I got a new LJ friend: David from DC!!! yay. Have fun in Seattle, Dauveed. I feel like a housewife ever since I got home from DC. My whole family is always out of the house, working or at sport camps, and my brother sleeps during the day. So on a typical weekday, I wake up with the dog panting in front of my face, ready to go to the bathroom. So I take her out, then feed the 3 cats across the street.. then I clean the kitchen, empty the dishwasher, drink my coffee and read the newspaper, then re-load the dishwasher. Then I cook lunch for my mom, then I drive it to her work and drop it off for her. She would tell me to prep food for the night's dinner... like today, I'm waiting for a whole chicken to thaw then I would BBQ it just in time when my whole family comes home. Then I take my dog for a 10 minutes walk. I wake up my brother so he can go to his doctor's appointment. so this is what a housewife feels like...EH it SUCKS. I'll be a career woman, thank you.
it's not really sunny today so I can't sun-tan by the pool. I guess I'll clean out my closet, or vacuum, or study for the LSATs for the rest of the day. Boston this weekend, here I come!! I need new scenery that's why.
oh yeah, since my last LJ entry, the cats have pooped/barfed on the CARPET twice. grreeeat
