I will never own cats!!! I'm sorry if I offend any cat-owner out there. Yes I love animals, and I LOVE cats, and I LOVE dogs, horses, ferrets, you name it, I love it. (except snakes) but that's not the point....
I went over to feed the 3 cats i'm watching for 2 weeks, and today is "litter change day". So I looked in their litter, and i noticed there's hardly any POOP for 3 cats who eat a shit-load amount of food. I wondered if they're constipated. whatever, so I empty it out, change it. etc. Then I go in the basement to change the other litter, and OMG there are POOP and PEE ALL OVER THE FUCKING FLOOR!!! Grooooooooooooooossssssssssssssssssss and even while I was (shakingly) emptying out the other litter and trying to pick up the hardened poop, my favorite cat went in the corner and started peeing on a bunch of laundry! WTF. They're all 11 years old, they should know better than that! I was appalled. I never will want to own cats. There were dried poop stains from probably the rest of their lives all over the cement floor. The owner warned me that they might pee and poop in "inappropriate" places because they are mad that the owners are gone. I thought they meant upstairs on the main level!! But ALL over the basement. EWW. It wasn't just the time they were gone, there were stains like literally thousands of spots and stains all over the place.
I went upstairs to get the huge can of fresh litter, and came back down to fill it, and there was a FRESH (with smoke rising up from it) pile of poop on a rug from the same cat that was just peeing. EW!!
That's not only it: One cat BARFED on the carpet in the family room!! it wans't "solid" that the owner told me hairballs would be.. it was all liquid, so of course it seeped into the carpet and I couldn't get it all out with just papertowel. GROSSSSSSSSS
Luckily I haven't found a dead mouse (they like to kill it and leave it to rot). BUT
ekekekekekekekekekekeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek i'm forever scarred by this traumatic experience. :(
