TM Topic 88 - Take back one thing you said
If you could take back one thing you said in anger, what would it be and why?
"When I was younger, I sometimes let my emotions speak for me. I sometimes regretted things I said. He shrugged. "I wished I could take them back." He scooped coffee into the gold filter and then turned on the machine. He leaned against the counter waiting for it to brew. Crossing his arms over his chest his gaze fell on a painting and he smiled. It reminded him of how long his life had been.
Time passed and it finally dawned on him that the coffee was ready. Methodically he retrieved a mug from the cupboard and poured it almost to the very top. He dumped three spoons of sugar into the coffee and it leveled off perfectly at the brim. "Need to stay awake," he said to himself. He took a sip and then turned. Making his way to the picture he stood before it for a long time. The colors in it were muted but that did not alter the powerful image they created. "I am older now, I don't speak in anger."
