I've found a pear tree in our garden.

And a climber rose.

And tree climbing kamikaze snails.

And palissade climbing slugs (may the zucchini plant RIP.)

The zucchini plant and the other herbs are now safely enclosed in a spikey plastic palissade lined with garlic cloves. I'd like to see the snails climb that.

If they do, the palissade will be reinforced with a moat, a drawbridge and a stone castle on a rock...
