Well the MTL trip didn't happen. Stupid Biso's father. I sure as hell wasn't going to Sherbrook.
Instead, I am hiding out for a few days, reading, sewing, taking care of my bird, napping, watching movies, playing around with my new curling iron (for my hair - I had asked for one for Christmas.), reviewing Chinese, organizing things, etc, etc. I am sure that I will get around to tinkering with my new sewing machine tomorrow (it comes with a tote bag pattern and an instructional DVD).
I finished the last book of "The Sword of Truth" series. I cried. It was a happy ending of course but I usually cry at the end of TV or book series because I am happy it turns out well and I am sad that the saga is ending. There were a lot of people who were in love and got to live together happily ever after. That REALLY gets to me. I am such a sap. XD
And I am sorry but I am currently having some problems with my Photoshop (GOD how I miss it and it has only been a day and a half) and stupid activation codes. :| SO as a result, I don't have anything that will resize my photos. Crop yes, but apparently not resize.
I took some pictures of the first sleeve for my Halloween costume. It is poofy just like I wanted. I could have made it a bell sleeve but I think I like the two "poofs" better. If you want to gander (YES GANDER! :O ) there are two pictures here: (I am not displaying the images because if your browser doesn't suck it will resize the pictures for you)

AND with the costume (below). No they are not attached to the main dress. I am too lazy. :P
