I am employed!
I have a job! As of July 10, I will be working with CSA (www.csa.com) as a research assistant. I interviewed with the Italian company today and the people were really nice and everything, but there were a couple concerns I had ... for instance, I'd have to look absolutely professional and perfect every day, which honestly wouldn't happen, and I don't have clothes for it, and most of all that they wouldn't really promote me - overseas clients get confused when there's a high receptionist turnover so they'd keep me in that job for years. And years. They actually told me that they think I'm too smart for that job, but they wanted me back for a second interview. Other than the Italian usage, it wouldn't be too challenging, and I'd rather be able to use my brain a bit. besides that, CSA is a lot more casual and much cheaper/more convenient to get to - there's a bus that goes right down 410 and it's only $1.25 each way as opposed to $2.35 to Farragut North. So I'm happy that I have benefits and can actually afford to live with Meghan and Beth, which I'm really excited about.
