Race for the Cure/ Habitat for Humanity
Hello anyone who happens to read this!
I'm doing the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, October 7 at 9am.
It's a 5k Run/Walk with a 1mile Run/Walk option.
The registration fee is $20, and you get a free t-shirt, and TONS of food after the race.
Registration is due this Friday, but you can register online by going to the New Orleans Track Club website, www.runnotc.org
If anyone wants to do this, I'm trying to get friends together!
I'm trying to get anyone I know to come run/walk with me.
I'll be wearing a standard green Tulane t-shirt, and I encourage all my fellow Tulanians to do so as well.
Also,
I'm getting a group together to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, October 6th.
If you want to do this, be prepared to meet at the Musician's Village (or our designated volunteer site) for 7:45am.
Both opportunities should be fun and really rewarding!
Also, if you go to Tulane, I'm trying to get a Tulane van for these events. So, I will be providing transportation for free.
