We made it through the storm.  Wasn't too bad here--winds averaged around 40mph with higher gusts at times.  That was all day yesterday, last night and today.  Power was off for just short of 24 hours.  That sucked but we lived.  The problem now is that the rain WILL NOT STOP.  News update just issued a tornado warning as I typed that sentence.  No ( Read more... )

I'm posting this link just for reference for those who aren't following as closely.  A lot of what I'm saying is discussed in this article.  And for those who don't know, we are in northeastern LA so, even though we will likely get some bad weather, we are out of the really severe weather range so we should be just fine.
