Um...well, it's Spangel, and, er, I like Spangel. That pretty much sums it up.
2. What's your current relationship status?
Married for the last 8 years to my best friend. (Sorry if it's cheesy, but it's true!)
3. Ever have a near-death experience?
Nope.
4. Name an obvious quality you have.
Well, since I'm a medical transcriptionist, the most obvious would be typing. Only slightly less obvious would be spelling. (I competed in the 1993 U.S. National Spelling Bee.) *nerd alert* :)
5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
"Without Me" by Eminem. I heard his new one in the car for the first time this evening...it sounds just the same! My husband and I rapped several lines of "Without Me" to the alleged 'new' song, and it fit perfectly. How unoriginal. (And how scary that I was rapping.) I actually like singing along with old-school rap (late 80s - very early 90s), but NEVER in front of people! (Perhaps that should've remained one of Kristina's Secrets....) But I digress.
6. Any celeb you would marry?
Well, I'm already married, and we're not giving each other up, but here's the short list of celebs we mutually agree we would consider allowing to join us for a night:

* Antonio Banderas
* Julian McMahon
* Tricia Helfer
* Johnny Depp
* Amber Benson
...possibly in order of preference. James is definitely number one. Mmmm...James. ;)

Only the above-mentioned celebs, mainly James. Those are just fantasy crushes, though; I don't pine for them or anything.

Never.

Plenty of verbal ones, but physical ones, only with my little brother, and not since we were kids.
12. Have you ever sung in front of a large audience?
Too many times to count! I'm a proud alumnus of my high school show choir, and I've also been in All-State and All-County choirs, as well as talent shows. I love to sing alto, or second-soprano if it's mainly harmony. One of my favorite parts to sing is second-soprano in SSA (all-girl) - that's the only time I like to sing melody.
13. What's the first thing you notice about the OPPOSITE sex?
Hmm...I'd say build (height/weight - I prefer tall, slim, and somewhat muscular but not huge). I'm also partial to dark hair and dark eyes. I'm also kind of attracted to a bad-boy image, and if a guy has that working for him really well, the rest of these facets go right out the window. (Which would explain my love for Spike, who other than being slim and muscular doesn't physically fit my "type.")
14. What do you usually order from Starbucks?
Some kind of latte, caramel maybe? I think I've only been to Starbucks once, maybe twice. I love cappuccino, though - McDonald's original cappuccino is the best on the planet. But that's slightly off-topic, I suppose.
15. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?
Nope.

I wear glasses. (That random enough for ya?)

Yes, but I've never agreed, so I don't remember which ones I've been compared to. Possibly Alicia Witt, when my hair was longer.

One on my left ankle, a Celtic-inspired braid with a banner bearing my husband's and my names.

I have a crappy cell phone; it doesn't have backgrounds. It's no big, since I hardly use it...I only turn it on when I'm calling someone, which is rare. (If I could add my own ringtones, I'd get the Buffy theme, which would encourage me to leave it on - and give my number to everyone!)

I am one, and yes, I like myself just fine!

What Would Buffy Do? The Vampire Slayer as Spiritual Guide by Jana Riess. Good book. Insightful, yet easily understood. Highly recommended.
