randomosity
okay ... maybe its just me, but im starting to notice a little something and it's kind of bothering me ...
almost a month ago when it was raining here in riverside (or actually, whenever it rains) all the snails came out of the ground and were all up on the walkways, leaving them to be crushed an tortured by passersby who could give less of a sh*t (pardon my french). and then a week or so after the snails, all the roly-polies came out of the ground too. theyre so darn cute ... so i was really sad when i saw a few squished ones. its really hard not to step on them too, cuz theyre so small.
but yeah ... fast-forward to this week. when i was on campus on yesterday, there were a bunch of butterflies everywhere. they werent the pretty kind, but they were still nice to look at. =] i kept thinking one of them was going to run into my face, but luckily that didnt happen. =] and then today, on my way back from picking up lunch from the commons .. i saw some bees. luckily, im not one of those girlie-girls who run around and scream, so i just walked really slow ... you know, not bother them and simply make my way through, but then next thing i know im walking through a swarm of bees!! ahh!! mother of pearl! first thing i did was i keep my head low, but then all i could see were their small shadows moving frantically across the floor. i moved to the side hoping to get away from them all, and i thought for sure that i was gonna get stung, but i made it out. ::sigh:: scary.
i was all trippy and stuff, and got to thinking about all the aforementioned bugs. why do they all come out at one time?? it reminded me of that one rugrats episode, you know, the passover one?? and there's that swarm of locusts and stuff?? yeahhh. OoOOoh creepy. and then i wondered ... what next?? by that time, i was on my way up the hill through the forest path, and saw this black beetle on the floor. nOoOOO!!! somebody make it stop!!! im cool with all of "mother nature's creatures" or whatever ... but darn it!! why do they gotta attack me like that??? thats just shady. >_<
::sigh:: okayy well thats all. i figured y'all needed a break from the love-life drama ... so there it is folks. have a nice day.
