I would still be nice to Pat, but make sure he knows that you are going on with your life and any potential suitors for that matter. This could be a good sign or maybe it's all just games and he'll only want you when he can't have you. So just don't take anything too seriously...the good or the bad until you two actually have "the talk." :)
