Update Time
Okay kiddies. I know you've been sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for this update, and here it is. The last few weeks have been super busy for me; school has been insane, and as such, I've been working hard trying to get everything handled.
I've also been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately. I guess I've been stressed out with school and gearing up on graduation that everything's been hectic.
On the plus side of things, one of the days I was at school (I'm currently on vacation right now) I got to make a earthenware fountain out of broken pieces of stems from goblets. Amanda kept breaking her things and well, I put them together, and liked what I made. The negative side of that is the fact that she just can't keep her stupid mouth shut and let anyone enjoy anything without trying to ruin it in the stupidest way possible, by talking about my art behind my back to Liz, when I KNOW she's going to say something bitchy. And then lie to my face. Not cool. Is she really stupid enough to think this isn't going to get back to me? HELLO! Liz is my best friend. Of course it will.
Annnnny way...I told her that she inspired my art with her own in the snarkiest way possible, so, fuck you too, bitch.
Tuesday night my computer's power cable decided it'd be awesome to burn out, so I had to deal with Dell on Wednesday to order a new one. That took forty five minutes out of my day. It got shipped home on Thursday.
I went home Thursday (on two hours of sleep) to find out that this wasn't the power cable I need. Plus, I spilled my sea monkeys all over my new bag, which sucks massively.
I called them on Friday and ended up talking to ten people on the phone in order to try to get this straightened out. Ended up talking to ten people on the phone and developing a migraine...before they decided to send me the piece I need in order to make this work.
I got it today.
Soooooo, I've been really nearly computerless for a week. I'm so glad to be able to use it properly again! I've decided I'm never buying a Dell again. Boo to their horrible customer service.
Oh, right, also, last Saturday, my mom and I went to the seminar for my surgery. It was pretty informative, and I really do think it'd be a great plan for me. I'm kinda looking forward to it. Though, there is going to be a 7-14 day period before the surgery and a 7-14 day period afterward that I'm pretty much going to be on a liquid diet, so...yeah, watch out for a really pissy Kristi. I'm contemplating trying to do it (go a week without food) sometime before the big, important time, so I'm not so unused to it. I dunno. It's going to be hard enough with doing it when I have to.
I've been working on my scarf some. It's coming along. ^_^
But the thing that has been taking over most of the time lately is Anna-Sophia. She just will not shut up, no matter what I do. I haven't really felt like writing much else outside of musings about her. Dunno.
It may be because I've been watching 90210 like a mad woman. I'm nearly through the entire first season, and really like it. Adrianna's character is (sadly) the most dynamic out of the entire show. I'm getting to see what range the PB has. I like that. I think Gossip Girl is a lot more witty, and the characters are less obnoxious, but...I like both shows. Thank you, Liz.
Liz is gone on her family vaca, which I'm living vicariously through text message. I'm going to get her something, besides all the stuff I'm...*cough* for her. We'll see...I need to do laundry and take care of the birds today. I may go to SoCo afterwards. I want to hit up Walmart and the mall.
