okay so you know that song "she's a school girl by day but a stripper by night!" well that just became my theme song. im kinda feeling that im living a double life. well maybe that's being a little too dramatic...i can be that sometime. let me explain...i have managed to pick up a little part-time, occassional sidejob. AS A WELLDER ASSISTANT!!!! i dont really know how i managed this one...but i think its pretty humorous. my brother-in-law and stepdad work construction (hell, i really dont know what they do but its along those lines) and they picked up this side job, so since they know that my income sucks, they asked if i wanted to work with them this weekend. i said yes because the dollar amount was AWESOME and I'M BROKE! so just imagine me...i arrive on saturday morning at 6am, just after hanging up the phone with desiree who was still up from the night before (oh how life has changed)! im wearing my cartharrt coveralls, makeup, and diamond earrings! im in a warehouse with dirt, mud, power tools going crazy, and a whole bunch of MEN! i was the only girl there...yes, i stuck out. so me being a girl, i didnt want to get too dirty! i wanted to look pretty while doing the dirty work but that didnt happen. it was an interesting experience. i really couldnt tell you what i did...not because i dont know. trust me, i learned real quick. but i couldnt tell you bc i have no idea what you call things. like i learned the names of the tools but not the technical terms. (im trying not to sound like a girl here). but i did learn how to "mount the track guards"...they're not called "the my height orange metal things." just an fyi. well anyways, through my experience i learned that i just wasnt cut out for the hard working life. i respect the people that are. but not me. i wanted to represent the gender well bc im all about being a pioneer but there's just somethings that i cant do. and i guess im okay with that. however if any of you ladies are interested, i would say go for it. bc there are some nice looking gents there. oh my word! now some were old and country but then there were those 20ish year olds that were hott...especially all hott and sweaty. but no further elaboration. that was my weekend...now back to the office where its okay to wear heels and earrings. oh yeah, and i even went out after work with the guys and had a beer! i love hanging with the men!.......kt
