That was delicious
So in honor of all the Polish talking between Kristin and I today...I decided to cook some kielbasa and saurekraut (which I knew I had been spelling wrong before but didn't really want to think too hard about how to really spell it) for dinner. It was delicious. Apparently you are suppose to rinse it off before you cook it but I decided against that. Instead I put some brown sugar in it to take away that rankness a little. Just call me Betty Crocker! ha ha not really!
Dad and I went shopping after work. I'm always in a hurry about everything so I about nailed 90 people when they won't get the hell out of my way. It almost feels like a workout and you want to see how quickly you can get stuff unloaded onto the conveyor thingy and then into the truck! Seriously I have issues. I about busted some little 4 year old in the chops when I heard this:
Kid: Look it's the Chinese
Grandma: Huh?
Kid: Grandma I said its the Chinese right there
*As this poor Chinese family is trying to grocery shop. I was going to put my foot out and trip the kid so his flippin' blue moon would spill all over and he'd bust his lip but I decided against it and gave the grandma a nasty look* GO ME! I just can't believe the nerve these days. The kid seriously couldn't have been over 4. I mean when I was little I use to call people fat apparently or so my mom tells me. BUT JEEZ I didn't point out Chinese people. I'm probably not even being politically correct with that but that was what the kid said. Phew plus I'm PMSing STILL...its not been pretty lately.
I then went to get ma and pa Nygren Panera and get gas. I walked in to pay and this guy held the door for me and double took to check me out again. He was OLD but wealthy so I spent a little more time pondering our hook up. He watched me walk out, nodded, and then followed me half way home. Buddy get a life! I only get hit on by old guys...at Buddy's in Fowlerville earlier this summer, I had like two forty year olds ask if I'd join them at the bar. Hell no...I've seen 5 year olds with more teeth than you. People these days!!! I guess something is better than nothing though.
Still counting down the days until move in. I don't know if two days if long enough to get unpacked and in school mode again. I'll need a few toddies by then! :) I've still got stuff to pack up and lots of things to accomplish. I need my big check that is coming soon so I can splurge. Grocery shopping might kill me I'm thinking but thats okay, I'll be stocked up.
I thought it was interesting when I heard that Destiny's Child was going to donate a dollar from every ticket someone purchased for their shows and it would go to the Ronald McDonald house. That made me smile. If only everybody did that. You'd think with all the freakin money they make that they COULD donate more than a DOLLAR. Grr...just think of all the money we'd have and probably by now there would be a cure for cancer or possibly more treatments to prolong their lives. That'd be the day.
I think I've rambled for long enough. It's hotter than the hinges of hell today. Phew bout had me a heat stroke. I'm going to take a little nappy I think and possibly find a nice book to read. Could be turning in early tonight! Didn't do anything today and I'm still exhausted. Must of been the grocery shopping! :)
