home again, home again, jiggity-jig

Namaste. So. I'm sick again, after a brief period of feeling not-like-shit. It's a bit silly, really. But, I think I did reasonably well on my German test this morning. And I don't have anything big happening this weekend except a dress rehearsal tonight and three performances with the YSSO (Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon) this weekend. I play during one movement, for approximately 45 seconds, and that is SO freakin' imperative, that I have to spend my evenings in Medford and Grants Pass for the next few days. Whoopdiefreakindo. Maybe I can get out of it because I'm sick? Nah. I'm too honorable for that, and I can't leave Cindy in a bind. Drat it all.

Aside from that, everything's good. Carolyn and her Martin are visiting. That's pretty cool. Right now she doesn't feel well, but Martin seems to be having fun. He's attending the Percussion Ensemble's rehearsal this afternoon, and I think he'll enjoy it. They're certainly a-twitter to have an Austrian hanging around. Heh. Silly percussionists.

I got roses for Valentine's Day. More on that later, maybe. Probably not, though. My mom gave me chocolates, though, and I love her very much. Not just because of the chocolate, of course. But it is certainly nice that she keeps up old traditions even though I'm far away.

Anyway, I'ma go eat my lunch now. Shalom.
