Charm City
Out in Baltimore now and currently loving things. Even though I miss everybody back home (I wish I could just take everyone here with me!) I love this place and just had the best weekend. Alison and Valerie surprised me by coming out to visit and flew in Saturday afternoon and stayed ntil this morning. We met up with some of Valerie's distant friends (related to one of her clients?) and we had the best time. We tried to go out to breakfast Sunday morning, and four screwdrivers later I felt like I was tailgating again. Oh well, fun is over now because starting tomorrow I begin my 8-8pm days Mon-THursday and 8-4 on Fridays until February. Even though it's a lot of work, I love my classes at Hopkins so far and can't wait to start teaching (even though that will undoubtedly be even more difficult!) Can't wait till everyone can come visit me!
