Cough Cough Write Write
I've got a cough. And a tickle in my throat. Regardless, last night I went to the Peanut Barrel with Laura to catch up, because I really needed a beer from having had a 10 page paper and a huge test in the same week, only one day apart. Now I get back to work--I have three more papers due Tuesday. I really feel that this is the most papers I've ever written in one semester. I usually dont' complain all that much about papers b/c I don't actually always mind writing them. They are probably the most preferred assignment you could give me, but the amount I've been writing lately is excessive. Every class I'm taking just requires a lot of writing. Other than that I'm not really busy. I see everybody a lot less but it's more or less because I just come home and watch TV or read instead of calling people up to go out. It's not that I want to see people less, I guess it's just a change of habit.
I didn't think about it at the time but getting sick last year for such a long time really made me change. Not in the sense that it changed "who I am" but mostly my habits. I go to bed earlier. I watch more TV. I lounge more, go out less. I also work less. I drink as often as I used to, but I consume much less. For example, I'll have a beer or a glass of wine when I'm watching TV. I see less of my friends, more of my family. It's not that either has become more or less important, I just got used to not being able to go out and fell into these new habits.
Or maybe it's just getting older. Who knows?
I want to go see Borat this weekend! And the FB game with Alessa and maybe Ashley? She hasn't given me and answer. LJKat wants to tailgate as well :) Excited.
Tony's going to NY, but it couldn't come at a better time b/c I kind of felt like just staying in EL this weekend. I think I might have Cappy up to the apartment for the weekend...yay!
