Long Journey!

Well It's been a long and nerve racking week. Tommy had his surgery on Fri. the 28th and all didn't go too good. We almost lost him. Then I got to thinking he's the strongest person I know, which made me realize that he would be fine and come out of this. He's finally breathing all on his own after quite a while with the ventilator in, which he really didn't like, and this is the first time i've ever seen him so scared he realized just how close he was to knocking on heaven's door, and is very thankful to be where he is right now. He's coming along, but still got a long way to go yet, he's still in icu, and has the chest tubes still in and is pretty short of breath, but he's my dad and I just know he'll make it. He was so happy to see that my neice Becky made him a card it made him cry, he thought he was dying and he realized that he had to live for Becky because he loved her so much and he knew she loved him, it was quite sad. Everything is starting to look up now, and hopefully it will just keep going up until he's back home were he belongs. Noone will feel right again until he's home and hollaring at everyone and being an arshole like always, and I even think he's almost there...lol. In other news, Me and Mark found a place in gb for the first of march, and seems to be a nice place, really old style with cast iron rads and old hardwood floors and stuff even crystal dooknobs. Can't wait to be out on my own again with my Mark, close to work and close enough to home to be around for my family. So it looks as things are getting better for everyone involved here and hope it stays that way. gtg work now.ttyl
