...you're prepared to get squished? Being squished is not fun, believe me. I got squished by a car, and it sucked, but the world is a whole lot bigger than a car.

That's the funny thing about pain. A memory of pain is nothing, easily overridden by the most trivial immediate pain. That's why it always feels so terrible, because you can't even remember what pain really feels like until you experience it again.
