Well, no one else is updating....

I'm still in Williamsburg, although my life has lost some meaning now that I've beat ResEvil 4! I can still watch Dave and Steven play, and get my butt kicked in Operation Ada, but it's not the same! This weekend there's finally perfect beach weather, and Dandan's going to Texas!!!! Nooooooooooooo. Anybody wanna go to beach sans the niceties of Dandan's house? :weeps:

I should be showering, but I've been composing LJ entries in my head when I'm bored, so it's about time I jotted down something. Apparently my dad knows the head of the Democratic party in Richmond, so he could hook me up with helping out Kaine/Byrne... whoever. I should have paid more attention. I'm hopeful for Virginia's governorship, at least. In my uberconservative area I have seen NOT ONE Kilgore sign. Not that I've seen any Kaine signs, mind you, but given the number of other Republican paraphernalia, you would really expect a few Kilgore sings in the mix. I'm thinking even the republicans are too ashamed to vote for Kilgore, so even if democrats don't get our Lt. Gov or Atty. Gen. we'll still win governor because Kilgore just sucks that much. I should know, my dad has a friend who works for him and (we think) sends him all this random Kilgore campaign propaganda: bumper stickers, form letters asking for money, invitations to fundraisers, all in big fancy envelopes that I don't think they send to everybody. Everytime my dad calls him to complain he just laughs at him. I think I'd be bored and pulling pranks if I worked for Kilgore, too. Poor guy.

Anyway, I'm still working my butt off for my class and not slacking off like I should be. I'm still that kid the professor turns to when nobody else knows the answer, and I spend like half my time fidgeting in my seat trying to avoid eye contact so I'm not that kid who talks too much, even though I probably am in the top 2 there. The other girl talks a lot because she challenges everything and asks random questions, though. I should think that's more annoying than girl who actually read the book and underlined key passages as she read :shame: I've turned into a monster! I remember back when I used to not do my homework and actually turn in major assignments on time... :sigh:

And my cat is a tiny little skeleton with a thin, dull coat, but my parents said he was looking BETTER so who knows what he looked like this past week. He doesn't act like he's... you know... but that makes it all the scarier because he seems like his old self but some day he's just gonna... yeah... not fair. Oh, and in case you're anywhere near my house, we're pretty sure he's mostly deaf. He doesn't really wander out in the road anymore, he sticks to our yard and the neighbors to the left, but he does sometimes sleep under cars!!! So, keep that in the back of your mind. It's kinda scary he's that deaf now. It's hard to tell just around the house, but even like a year ago if he heard a car starting up he'd run. According to my sister now he just sits there. I wonder if Daisy will miss him. I mean, I know she'll miss his food, but I wonder if she'll act any different once he's gone. Hopefully she'll act skinnier.

To end on a happy note, Fudgie the whale cake is delicious. Whoever next has a birthday better watch out because they're totally getting a "Have a Whale of a Birthday!" cake. Awesome.
