Okay flist.
Since I will largely be in the middle of no where this summer, I am probably going to read alot. Which will probably end up sucking since buying books is expensive...
But so, I want EVERY ONE OF YOU to comment recommending me a book that I HAVE to read. If I've read it, I'll say so, and you will have to come up with an alternative. Or you can recommend a few books, but I'm only obligated to read the first one on it.
Some obvious examples of works I have read include Harry Potter, LOTR (though I should reread but those are at home and thus, will not happen until the fall anyways)... Umm... most by Terry Brooks, everything by Terry Goodkind, Jacqueline Carey, Diane Gabaldon, Jack Whyte... ummmm... Marion Zimmer Bradley excluding the newer ones which are actually by Diane Paxton but I own and thus they are at home, since I only brought one book with me... George RR Martin... yeah, I don't know, I've got a lot of authors at home.
Even if you hate my journal and wish I would die, you MUST RECOMMEND A BOOK.
Any length, genre, whatever...
Personally I hope to focus on the classics, since there are many I SHOULD have read but haven't. Ones I have include Great Expectations, Lord of the Flies, Man of All Seasons, Pride and Prejudice (though I should read it again too), Wuthering Heights... yeah, I don't know. BUT recommend any book you want. Classic, play, contemporary, romance, mystery, political, religious...
I picked up Anna Karenina today and that's what I'm going to start with. After that... RECOMMEND ME BOOKS.
Do it do it do it do it do it!
