What the bloody hell. Why do I bother with astrology?
A few nights ago, I met Chad at the astronomy tower. He helped me with French and I helped him with astronomy. Then, as usual, we just talked for a while. He has a niece and he spoke about her like he really liked her. That's so sweet. I don't understand him though. Why is he so nice to me? Marius warned me about him and obviously, Joe hates him. I'm so confused.
Things are good. I'm going to completely fail the potions exam. Professor Travers, the new Muggle Studies teacher is really cool! I think that class is going to be actually interesting now. He assigned us "The Christmas Carol." I haven't read that in so long! Oh, and we need to bring the name of a Christmas carol for next class. Any ideas?

I'm going home for Christmas!!!!!! My mum (after my dad talked some sense into her) said that she will let me come back to school! I've never been so happy! Oh and Chad, that means that I can come to your house. Just let me know when everyone is going over.
