I have money and I am very happy
My money came through from the tax department - 5 years of money they owed me as the last tax agent had made the same mistake from 2001 to 2005, and there was interest! It may not be a fortune to some but to me its a massive blessing! I went grocery shopping and spent $330! I have never spent that much in the groceries but I have almost caught up and have lots of food to eat. I bought some new towels (goodbye threadbare ones) and sheets for the new double bed (the spare one in the front room- I will be able to have visitors stay over), ordered a new armcahir to sew in (the one I have is quite disgusting and will not clean up anymore), I got ink for the printer, and will be able to pay my credit card debts tomorrow. Will also be able to get new guttering, some new fences (and maybe a proper cat enclosure) and maybe even blinds for the outside of the house. I can get the light fixed and get the clock fixed so I can have its familiar tick back again. I can even treat myself to a night in a city hotel. I am happy.
