2008 still has some sadness to give
When my job was "disappeared" in October, I didn't have time to contact those library people I knew and had some social dealings with over my 8 years. I found out today that one of those people, someone I had coffee with once in a while, passed away last year. I don't know any details - how, and when- but I have a deep sense of sadness as it was only by chance I found out. She was a lovely lady who was proud of her two kids and enjoyed her life. Damn, damn, damn. I'm trying to find out more about what happened from the one contact I have.
