Dang It.

I haven't been on here in ages and here I am with nothing but sad. We just lost our dog, Lavi, today. He was sick something fierce Sunday - throwing up constantly until he started throwing up blood. We took him to the vet and the vet wanted him taken upstate for a blood transfusion, but not even halfway there he didn't make it. We're not sure what was wrong with him other than his liver was failing, though diabetes is suspected. He'd lost a lot of weight and apparently was drinking a lot of water, which is a sign of diabetes in animals. But, man, did it happen fast. We just thought it had been an allergic reaction to something he was eating.

Ugh. He was old, but not that old. :(
