A New Outlook (of the Apathetic Variety)

Well, eventhough it got off to a rocky start, summer is finally starting to look as excellent as I had hoped. Saturday night I went over to Patricks to play beer pong and it was just so much fun to hang out with everyone. Definitely gonna have to play that some more here. Musical was Sunday. Very entertaining if nothing else. I love Mike K and Andrew. And everyone else, but mostly Mike and Andrew. Monday I had a much needed girls night with Steph and Alisa in which we caught each other up on everything and chatted in our regular girl fashion. Both of them are gonna be MIA from Chesterton this summer (figures, the first summer I am home is the first one they aren't,) so I'm not happy about that at all. At least Bri and I will be able to cause some trouble. Today I went rollerblading with my mom. That was good exerciseful times except for when I couldn't breathe and kinda popped my sholder out of socket, but whatever. Later I went to the beach with Stephen to attempt figure out what exactly we are gonna do with ourselves for the summer. It ended up being a lot of fun. After a dinner break and some SPUD action with Annie Madigan, my sibs, and cousins (yes, just like michigan goodness, but in my front yard,) I went back to Stephen's for some Star Wars II with a little break to play with legos and action figures. Seriously. Moral of that story is we've finally figured out some sort of arrangement that works for us. Don't even bother asking either of us to define what exactly that arrangement is, but the best I can do is say it's kinda like the beginning of last summer sans leaving in three weeks. And I'm still technically single. Currently Patrick and I are making up the list of supplies needed for camping, and I'm getting more and more excited about that. Also coming up in a few days is scary movie night on Friday the 13th and Star Wars III midnight showing. I'm definitely pumped about the first, the second will be entertaining if nothing else. I guess basically this summer is gonna be full of friends and good times, so screw everything else that I've been worrying about and I'm just gonna go with the flow. Go with the flow and plan a lot of great activities of course.
