Went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End today with crazy_craigTrailers - only two Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Ratatouille (Rat-a-too-ee). I will see Harry Potter 5 but not the Pixar Brad Bird directed movie. Met up with crazy_craig to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest at the AMC. Starting with our traditional browse around the comic and cd / dvd shops. I kinda got an early train, left home at 9.55, wanted to avoid the 10.08 (wanted the 10.28) but got there a few minutes early and got it anyway. I just read that we will have to stay through the end credits of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (which I'm seeing on Friday with crazy_craig). Like X3, we will have to sit through the titles. I guess it will be like the bit at the end of Curse of the Black Pearl with the evil monkey Jack steeling a cursed gold coin. Just played the Hellboy: DC Isolated Score track with comments by Marco Beltrami. It sounded ok. They also have the songs on that track as well as the score.

Was watching my Pirates of the Caribbean DVD again. Noticed references to Davy Jones and of course Bootstrap Bill Turner in the film. Both of whom will be in Dead Man's Chest.

Watched DBH last night on ITV1, been ages since I saw it. It's ok. Catch the October 26th 1985 reference - (i.e. the date in BTTF Marty goes back to the future, or in this movie Helen drinks the potion).
