Limit Break

Several months ago, I took it upon myself to expand my reading palate and get myself "unstuck" from just reading anything Stephen King, if not from reading horror/suspense/thriller books all together. I felt I was missing out on great literature out there. I liked the books I have been reading since then, yet I still seem to have that knack of just picking up books with titles I find very intriguing then discover later on that a psycho killer is involved. Case in point: Games of the Hangman by Victor O'Reilly, which I'm currently enjoying, among others.

I took the same approach regarding music, since I felt I've been missing out on incredible earworms, too. Scouring feeds of some (selected) Twitter peeps I'm following paid off. I discovered some names of genres I have never heard anyone mention before. Soon after, some of my friends actually began sharing with me the kind of music they like. Bart was the latest "contributor" to my little "expansion" efforts :) He re-introduced me to music that someone with low musical vocabulary like me would generalize as Trance-or something that is Trance-like, if not a mish-mash of entirely different tunes, tones, and moods that made them sound like Trance but actually not. Did that make any sense? I seriously don't know what they're called. Worst part was...either I forgot to ask about the genre or I can no longer remember what it was called *dies*

Anyway, Double D shared this fantabulous music (YouTube clip below) on Facebook. "Dancy and trancy" was what he described it. To me, it was just-WOW!

Wow.

I suggest you listen to it for yourself, dear Reader. And when you do this, notice if it makes the hair at the back of your neck stand up. That's OK. Listeners have suggested that that is the "normally accepted reaction" to this one ;)

Enjoy, you, and happy weekend! :)
