Yes it's been more than 9 months since my last post^^; Japan trip last Dec-Jan was great as always! Lots of snow this time around! Anyway, I'm still alive and well. Just currently into Kdrama & Kpop instead of anime & Japanese entertainment.

To fellow Aussie Kpop fans, we are finally getting our chance to see some of our idols perform live in Sydney ( Read more... )

I saw that!!! Would be awesome to go, but unfortunately can't go.

The only thing about SBS PopAsia I find is that they show more KPop music than anything else. Not that is a bad thing but it would be nice to see more music from Japan too. I think I have only seen one or two JPop and JRock music on there.

Aww a shame you can't go. Hopefully they'll come again next year^^;

Regarding SBS PopAsia, I agree that they show too much Kpop...(actually they might as well call it SBS KpopAsia), however this morning's show was still their second show and thus I guess they haven't yet gotten a lot of licenses for other music videos. I'm constantly requesting TVXQ & Super Junior on their twitter & facebook page but I just read that they've yet to get licenses for SM Entertainment MVs that's why I haven't seen DBSK or SUJU MVs >_>;; (I was actually more annoyed that they repeated the same MVs from last week's ~_~)

Hopefully they'll grow and in a couple of months we might even be able to see a GACKT or Larc'en-Ciel PV!!! I'll be requesting for those actually xDDD (Can't wait to hear Laraku's new single. I hope they'll release a PV with Hyde looking like he does in the CD's cover jacket 8D)

OMG that looks like FUN~~~sometimes I'm envious that everywhere else except the United States is so much more international--it's hard to get international channels or radio here. But SMTown is coming to NYC this year!! So excited. XD

I was so excited when I found out about this considering our Asian population is still young and not as establish as those there in the US. But thanks so Australia's multicultural broadcasting station, I'm glad we can further promote Asian Pop music this way ( ... )

We get some Asian stuff on late-night channels, but most of it is pretty boring. I think getting overseas news channels require paying additional fees, but I could be wrong because I don't really spend that much time on TV...

SMTown is in Madison Square Garden in NYC! :D I booked my ticket the other day but there's not really anyone else I know that's into kpop so I'm going alone. Somehow I was kinda sorta converted to Super Junior fandom and a little bit of the rest of SM entertainment, although not so much the rest of the kpop world. I just came back from Japan and am in Taiwan right now and it's amazing how often SNSD just randomly appears on Japan and Taiwan TV. :O
