Yes it's been more than 9 months since my last post^^; Japan trip last Dec-Jan was great as always! Lots of snow this time around! Anyway, I'm still alive and well. Just currently into Kdrama & Kpop instead of anime & Japanese entertainment.

To fellow Aussie Kpop fans, we are finally getting our chance to see some of our idols perform live in Sydney ( Read more... )

I was so excited when I found out about this considering our Asian population is still young and not as establish as those there in the US. But thanks so Australia's multicultural broadcasting station, I'm glad we can further promote Asian Pop music this way.

So there really isn't a station there in the US which promotes the different multicultural news, world movies, tv shows, radio broadcasts in different languages? I guess we must be really lucky then here in Australia. Not only do we get to watch them old Japanese variety shows with subtitles/dubbing, we always have about 16 hours of news from different countries, foreign movies and documentaries focusing on different cultures in Australia. Now hopefully this Asianpop can bring about SBS AUS airing Kdramas *_*!

You're so lucky getting SMTown. I think I read on allkpop that it's being moved to New Jersey though?? So will you be going then? Actually you guys up there have been getting quite a number of Kpop artists visiting. Envy you so much for getting JYJ to perform in different cities T_T. I want them to come here, but our population is just so small!

We get some Asian stuff on late-night channels, but most of it is pretty boring. I think getting overseas news channels require paying additional fees, but I could be wrong because I don't really spend that much time on TV...

SMTown is in Madison Square Garden in NYC! :D I booked my ticket the other day but there's not really anyone else I know that's into kpop so I'm going alone. Somehow I was kinda sorta converted to Super Junior fandom and a little bit of the rest of SM entertainment, although not so much the rest of the kpop world. I just came back from Japan and am in Taiwan right now and it's amazing how often SNSD just randomly appears on Japan and Taiwan TV. :O
