I just got back from the moot court competition. C.J. John Roberts was judging along with Calabresi and Sotomayer (both of the 2nd Cir.). In fact, it was so hot that the competitors could barely get a word in. Although Roberts made the headlines, Calabresi was the star of the show.
I just got this email re: my final decision to accept a job at firm X from a practitioner in the area:
"Congrats. [X FIRM] is the best of DC. It's one of the firms that impossible to lateral into but easy to lateral out of. Plus the QOL is unbeatable."
