I've decided: I'm tired of getting my feelings hurt!!!
to block out and stomp down on some of the janky stuff that's been going on lately, I'm gonna make a list of really great stuff. add on to it if you like. or, comment with your own list. let's make a huge compilation of our favorite things, why we're beautiful people, why our lives are great anyway and anything else that's unique to our lives!!
I'll start.
THINGS THAT ROCK IN MY LIFE:
1. the fact that I'm majoring in animation at my dream school, which I worked my ass off to get into, and which will get me a career that I've dreamed my whole life of.
2. my kickass friends who make my life so rich in their own unique ways... from ashley's
flattering artistic mastery, to shiboo calling 911 for me when we thought bandit had been stolen, to my rubber duckie posse and my sex angel of lmu and everyone who sends me support through LJ and everyone else!
3. my sexy little red sports car with the "kreeton" decal on the back.
4. my kitties, and my family (even if they drive me nuts sometimes).
5. being raised with morals and human decency, and not turning out like the spoiled brats on mtv's "my sweet 16"
6. living in seattle, right on the water!
7. having a home, food, clothing, and everything I need and then some, and not living in a country (severly) under war, and not being in nearly as bad a state as I could be.
8. spongebob. c'mon, spongebob!!! and KENSHIN!!
9. tacos. I loves me some tacos.
10. adult swim. and anime. and all the animation that inspires me and makes me want to give it my all.
11. having my artistic and creative nature. if I had no talents but number crunching and had to be an accountant, my life would SUCK.
12. having a big heart. even though it gets me in trouble a lot of the time from loving too much.
13. living in a country where I can freely express myself, my religion, my sexuality, my gender, my political beliefs... freedom in general.
14. chocolate milk!!
15. being able to get joy from the little things in life, even though sometimes I completely miss the big picture.
now it's YOUR turn!
think of what makes you you. what brings you happiness? what makes you stand out? what makes you keep going when things get rough? it made me feel better to type this out. even if you're not bummed about anything, give it a try. you might surprise yourself.
