I've not updated this thing since before I even heard of the word "blog". So two years huh? Has anything happened.... ummm, a few things. I'll just sum things up here and who knows? I might write again in a few days (or years) or something. First of all I got married on Jan. 3, 2004 to Linsey... she's just too awesome to even describe but just imagine the most amazing girl you've ever met and you'll be close... I feel so lucky every day just to be with her. As for my job situation, that has been all over the place... I finally quit good old Blockbuster in December 2004, then day before Christmas Eve actually... I know it was a crappy thing to do, but I'd put in a two week notice and it simply had to be done. Before, I'd quit there however, I started a second job at Best Buy in September working as a Geek in the Geeksquad... yeah, yeah laugh it up. It's an okay job, but dealing with customers and their computers is a true test of patience and I choose to see it as a constant lesson in character building. So, after Blockbuster I did the one job thing for a few months, then got a real office job at Kimball Midwest... a motor parts distributer. I'm doing helpdesk at Kimball, which isn't too bad, but because of lack of benefits for the first six months of employment I am also still full time at Best Buy... a situation I really wouldn't recommend to anyone. 70 to 75 hours a week feels like getting plowed by a bulldozer, sleep is a luxury, and playing videogames is a distant memory. It's worth it though, and it'll definitely be a sense of accomplishment to make it through a rough spot and hopefully come out stronger because of it. As for some of the other happenings and goings on, Linsey and I did get a house in March of this year in Lockbourne, OH and shortly thereafter we got a dog named Callaway. To put it mildly it's been quite a couple of years and there have been many other things I could talk about of course, being such a huge time gap here... man, I read over some of my old posts on here and geesh, what a bunch of crap... I would suggest skipping it if you haven't already, especially the comments on the war... wow... is it possible to go back in time and slap myself? because the dude who wrote that could use a good smack in the face.
