"Dear God, you made many, many poor people.
I realize, of course, that it's no shame to be poor.
But it's no great honor either!
So, what would have been so terrible if I had a small fortune?"
Saw Fiddler on the Roof yesterday, was fabulous. I didn't know much about it except for a couple of the songs, so it was a bit of a revelation.
Anthony Warlow looked like he was having a lot of fun and was fabulous. Sigrid Thornton can't really sing, but was still great in the role. Nicki Wendt as the Matchmaker was fabulous. The staging was simple but very effective.
Wish everyone could see it. It's still so relevant. The human race is still making the same mistakes.
But after that, plus cleaning Gracie bird's cage and neighbour's 40th birthday Saturday, so exhausted. Work today will be fun.
Did well anxiety-wise yesterday, though didn't risk eating lunch out. Didn't use my walking stick which in retrospect was probably a mistake. We took the wrong exit off the platform at Central and ended up with more walking and stairs rather than the escalator. When we got to the Capitol Theatre, we found a stool and mum made me sit down. I felt bad that an older lady behind me stood to let some elderly ladies sit. But then my leg started shaking while I was sitting and had trouble walking and mum took me to the disabled loo. Then propped myself up against the bar outside the door we needed to go in.
