Yay Gender Roles Live On!
I have very little interest in the whole "Jon and Kate" drama. I feel quite sorry for the children, though.
But in an interview as to why Jon has been acting out, he said, “It’s hard for a man to stay home for two years and change diapers and make meals and deal with doctor’s appointments and all the stuff that you expect your wife to do.” (emphasis mine)
Um, wow, so even though it take a man and a woman (and sometime additional help) to create a child, only the woman is expected to actually do anything for them.
