Angel chewed his lip nervously as he paced the living room, sitting down, before opting to stand up again, frowning a little.
Spike had no such qualms already packing away his playstation and setting it next to his Wii before he set off looking for his games.
Angel watched Spike for a moment. "Don't you even feel the slightest bit bad?"
"For what?" he asked with a raised brow digging his game out of the sofa.
"For just....I don't know, going all of a sudden," Angel frowned. "After being put up and everything."
He shrugged, "He'll probably be glad his ceiling isn't falling down anymore."
"Hmmm, you think?" Angel frowned.
"Think what?" asked Lorne walking in. "You're not getting another dog, are you? Three is enough for anyone."
He grinned, "Nah, we've decided to open up a kennel club."
Lorne arched a brow.
"Ah-hah," Angel shot Spike a glare. "Um. What he means is, that we...umm"
Spike rolled his eyes, "He got us a new place for my anniversary present, we're gonna move out. You can unlock your wine cellar now."
Lorne blinked, paused, then pinched himself. After a few moments, he grinned. "You're going? For realisies?!"
Spike grinned, “Course, nice place over in Soho."
"This is great!" Lorne beamed. "About damn time, too, the ceiling's gonna cave in if you stayed here much longer. You can take that couch with you, too."
"........Wait," Angel frowned. "...Aren't you even the slightest bit sad?"
Lorne blinked, "Not really, no."
Spike rolled his eyes, "Told you"
".....Oh," said Angel, sulking a little. "A bit of a tear or a sigh would have been nice..."
"Hell, no, you guys just bring destruction wherever you go, good luck Soho is all I'm saying."
Spike looked at him, "You're upset that he won't miss us?"
"....No," sulked Angel.
"It's n ot like you'll be on the other side of the world forever," said Lorne, rolling his eyes. "I'm not that lucky."
Spike looked at Angel fondly and walked over to him kissing his temple slowly
Angel humfed a little.
"I can give you a hug if you like?" offered Lorne, arching a brow.
"No, that's fine."
"I can give you a hug if you like." he whispered in his ear
Angel smiled, ducking his head. "Hush."
"Ugh, if you two are going to start that again, can you give me a chance to get out of the room first?" Lorne grimaced.
Spike smiled against his ear and kissed it once he was satisfied that Angel was a little better before he moved and sat on the vampire's lap. He looked over at the demon. "Gonna expand me shop."
"Oh good, that means your creepy customers won't scare away my creepy customers," chuckled Lorne.
Angel smiled, nuzzling Spike a little.
"My customers ain't creepy." he complained leaning back against Angel
"Of course they are," said Lorne.
"Oi they brought more business to your bar."
"Yes, until they started using them IN my bar," chuckled Lorne.
".....Don't you two start," Angel rolled his eyes.
He grinned, "That's your problem." he chuckled wrapping Angel's arms around his waist
"Not anymore," Lorne beamed, then rolled his eyes. 2I'll leave you two to it, then."
Angel smiled, kissing Spike's jaw
Spike sighed, "So long Kermit." he murmured cuddling in
Lorne chuckled. "Have fun, vampies," he said, heading downstairs.
He chuckled, "Told you,"
"Yes, shush," Angel smiled against Spike's jaw.
He smiled, "Oh now it doesn't interest you," he whispered with a pleased sigh arching his jaw.
"The sulking is over," Angel smiled a little, before watching him. "Hmmm we should pack more."
"That involves getting up." he whispered
"Yes, it does a bit," Angel whispered back.
He smiled looking at him, his eyes soft. "Do I have to?”
Angel watched him, then laughed softly. "We're never going to get anything done," he said, pulling him into a deep kiss.
Spike laughed leaning his head in and kissing him deeply, "Did you order the bed?"
"Yes, I ordered the bed," Angel murmured against his lips.
"The sturdy one?"
"Hmmm-mmm, with the metal railing headboard."
He grinned softly his fingers tangled in his hair, "Perfect." he whispered
"Thought you might say that," Angel chuckled, leaning into his touch.
"What's wrong with that?"
"Not a thing," he smiled, nuzzling him slowly.
He grinned arching his neck, "Transferring my stock over might take a little longer.
"Hmm, I bet it would, "he chuckled against Spike's throat.
"Mmm what about your packing?"
"My packing won't last that long," he chuckled. "I can get rid of those damn unicorns."
"They'll infect you somehow."
"No, I'm putting my foot down, the new desk will have no unicorns," he paused. "....I'll give her one of her own."
He chuckled, "If you think that'd work," he teased
"It's worth a shot," he chuckled softly.
Spike chuckled curling in, "Anything’s possible pet."
"It is that," he whispered with a smile, holding him close.
He smiled enjoying the familiar solid feel of the larger man. "You're not letting me go for a while are you?" he asked softly kissing his jaw.
Angel arched his jaw with a slow grin. "Nope, not a chance."
He grinned softly, "good, " he whispered nipping his chin. "Means you're in a good mood."
"Why, are you going to ask me for something?" he chuckled softly.
"What makes you think that?" he asked amused
"Bceause you're trying to get me in a good mood," he smiled.
He smiled, "What's wrong with that, I like it when you smile."
"Yeah?" he smiled, leaning in to kiss his jaw.
Yeah," he whispered softly kissing his skin gently "I like knowing I can make you smile like that."
"You always could," smiled Angel, closing his eyes in bliss.
He grinned, "Even when I pissed you off?"
"Even then, you're good at making me forgive you really quickly."
He smiled, "Lucky me," he whispered softly his fingers stroking Angel's cheek as he kissed his ear
"Hmmm, you are," he chuckled, arching his head back.
He smiled shifting on his lap doting on his adams apple. "Arrogant Sod."
Angel groaned a little at his actions. "Nope that's usually you."
You're catching up then," he teased softly watching him before licking over his neck.
"Catching up that you're an arrogant sod?" chuckled Angel, shivering under his tongue.
"No," he chuckled "Catching up to my levels of arrogant sodness."
"Hmmm, I don't think I have a prayer for that," Angel chuckled.
“Why not?" he asked softly
"Because you're far more arrogant than me," chuckled Angel.
"Oi! I am not."
"Yes you are," Angel teased.
He huffed softly crossing his arms.
Angel arched a brow. "What's wrong with you? You're usually pretty proud of that fact"
"Yeah but not for no reason.”
"Not for no reason?" Angel asked, amused.
"Yeah I'm that good
"YOu're not making much sense, Love," the elder vampire chuckled.
He frowned softly waving his hand, "I know what I mean."
"I'm sure you do," he smiled, leaning in to kiss his forehead.
He smiled a little leaning in, "I do." he murmured, "I should finish packing shouldn't I?”
"Hmmm, it would be a good plan, yes," he smiled, kissing his jaw.
He smiled softly, "Good," he whispered climbing off his lap
Angel sighed at the lack of Spike, before standing and stretching.
He grinned, "You said I had to pack," he teased
"Yes, we do, or we'll never move, doesn't mean I didn't enjoy you on my lap," sniffed Angel.
He grinned, "I'll be back soon enough"
"You'd better," smirked Angel softly.
He grinned happily winking at him before he grabbed his boxes , he gave a thoughtful look at the books in the shelves beside him. "This is...its kinda a new start for us ain't it?"
"How do you mean?" Angel asked, packing up his swords.
He smiled softly, "Nothing," he murmured peacefully with a nod and left the room
Angel blinked, following him. "....Will? You're being mysterious."
He looked back, "What're you talking about?" he asked as he walked along the hall
"You," chuckled Angel. "You said something then did that secret smile thing."
"I have a secret smile now?" he asked walking into his room opening his suitcase.
"Yes, and you know you do," laughed Angel, leaning on the door.
He grinned folding his clothes and putting it into the case. "Ah."
"Ah?" Angel asked, smiling
"Yeah...Ah." he replied softly grabbing his CD's."
"Being enigmatic now, are we?"
"You're making all this up on your own now Pet." he replied pulling the box out from under his bed
"Am I?" chuckled Angel, walking across to gather the puppy things.
"Yeah, when did I get all enigmatic?" He asked pausing as he looked at his books.
Angel considered, picking up the baskets. ".....Hmmm, the secret smile?"
His smile widened a little, "Just thinking about new starts...or old ones."
"Ah, new start, you mean like a new home?" he asked with a smile.
Yeah kind of." He murmured packing his books away
Angel smiled, watching him. "Clean sate thing, is it?"
He shook his head before shrugging closing it and setting the suitcase down before sitting on the edge of the bed, his meagre belongings possibly the most he'd gathered together in a long time. He played with his ring, "It sounds so bloody domestic," he murmured with a smile
Angel moved to sit beside him, chuckling a little as he ran in fingers through Spike's hair. "And that's a bad thing?"
He shook his head, "Nah...just something I never trusted entirely to happen."
"Well, it's happening now," Angel smiled softly.
"Yeah..." he murmured before turning and looking t him before leaning in and taking a kiss. "Sorta imagined I'd do all this with Dru...dunno what I was thinking."
Angel smiled against his lips. "You loved her, that was reason enough."
He shrugged, "You keep to some random dreams from before you're turned." he murmured fondly
"Me?" he asked, smiling.
He smiled softly, "More the dream of a domestic life." he chuckled softly
"Nothing wrong with it," he chuckled, nuzzling him fondly.
He smiled, "Yeah you'd better be doing the cooking."
"Hey, I can cook very well," said Angel.
He held his hands up, "And the cleaning."
"Hey, I'm not doing all of it!"
He grinned, "You can live in a mess then."
"You can help," Angel poked him with a grin. "No, you WILL help."
"Yeah right," he chuckled, "Who's going to make me?"
"Me?" Angel smirked, nipping at his nose.
He grinned playfully, "How?"
"I have my ways," Angel grinned wolfishly.
Spike chuckled softly, "Yeah I'll have to see what that is won't I?" He whispered suddenly peaceful with his lot in life.
Angel grinned, leaning in to tickle him gently. "Oh yes."
"Hey!" he exclaimed trying to stop his hands.
"Yes?" grinned Angel, continuing to tickle.
"No no no " he chuckled
"Yes yes yes!" he laughed.
"No no no." He giggled pushing his hands away
Angel laughed, continuing his tickle assault.
"Stop stop stop!" he yelped
"Never!" he laughed, tickling under his t-shirt.
He yelped falling off the bed with a helpless laugh
Angel chuckled, leaning over, offering a hand. "You ok?"
"No." He chuckled yanking him down.
Angel yelped, laughing as he crashed onto the floor.
He grunted as Angel crashed before laughing, "I am now."
"Bastard," Angel laughed from the floor.
He sat up before leaning over him and kissing him deeply. "My mother was married thank you very much."
Angel sighed, returning the kiss. "Asshole, then."
"You like mine." He grinned
"Well, yes," Angel grinned from the floor.
He grinned smiling softly, "You're so slow, I'm all packed."
"Shhhh," Angel smiled. "I'm mostly packed."
"Where? he asked amused
"....In places....my office," Angel coughed.
"I don't believe you."
"I have!" he laughed.
"Where?" he asked with a laugh.
"My office!" said Angel vaguely.
He smiled kissing his lower lip. "If you say so. Are we having a goodbye bash.
"A party? Hmmmmm we could," Angel considered. ".....Um...or maybe just a housewarming? Some people might not like...here."
"Alright, a house warming." he whispered. "When do we need to pack the car?"
"Hmmm, sometime," said Angel, snuggling in.
He smiled tucking his head in and kissing his scar. "Not tonight then?"
"Not tonight," said Angel shivering a little with a soft smile.
"So tonight...we're still under this roof?"
"Tonight.....why?" Angel paused.
He shrugged, "We can try and break the ceiling again."
Angel chuckled, before watching him. "Yeah, alright, give it a goodbye."
He grinned, "You're going to have to really go for it, best go out with a bang." He chuckled
"Me is it?" laughed Angel.
He grinned, "You're less graceful than me."
Angel laughed, leaning in to kiss his jaw. "You're saying that so you can be lazy," he teased.
He grinned and cuddled him resting his head on Angel's collarbone, "So?"
Angel smiled, nuzzling him. "You'll get fat."
He grinned, "You'll still love me."
"Of course," grinned Angel. "Even when you can't move anymore."
He smiled softly, "Yeah...I know." he breathed in delight.
Angel kissed down his neck. "Every flabby inch of you," he teased.
"I'm not flabby yet," he complained.
"Nope, well, maybe a little one....here," Angel teased, kissing his neck.
"Where?" he asked looking down.
"Here," Angel whispered, breathing over his mark.
He shivered, "My neck?" he whispered softly.
"Hmmm," replied the elder vampire, mouthing at the mark,
He closed his eyes with a soft gasp, "Liam...my neck is not fat."
He chuckled low, suckling at it.
He closed his eyes tightly giving out an unneeded breath.
Angel grinned, running his tongue along it slowly.
He whimpered softly arching it up to him with a soft sigh.
Angel scooped him up, lying him on the bed and straddling his hips, blowing and nipping at the mark.
He arched before his fingers dug into his arms. turning his head and kissing him with a slow smile.
Angel returned the kiss, grinding his hips down slowly
He groaned softly arching up as he dragged his hands down his back tumbling with him on the bed. purring as he nipped at his lip.
Angel laughed at they tumbled nipping at him gently.
He nuzzled his sire, playful and mischievous as he ran his hands down his chest.
Angel chuckled low in his chest, arching up under him, moving to his touch as his fingers played with the hem of Spike's T-Shirt.
He smiled looking down at him growling gently as he wriggled out of his t shirt.
Angel returned to growl, moving to nip and lick at exposed skin.
He shivered softly, throwing the shirt to the side as he moved into his touch
Angel purred, mouthing over the planes of his lover's chest, scraping a nipple delicately with his teeth.
He shivered his chest jumping, "Liam.."
"Yes?" he smirked.
"Nothing love just..." he trailed off sighing as he fell back onto the bed.
Angel grinned, moving to crawl over him, repeating the motion.
"Oh...bloody hell." he whispered his fingers buried in his hair.
Angel chuckled low, breathing on the other nipple, before scraping his teeth across it.
He shivered, "Liam..." he whispered as his nipple budded, "Don't stop."
"Don't plan to," he smiled, nipping at the nipple slowly.
He chuckled dropping his head and kissing Angel's crown achingly
Angel purred, letting the budded nipple vibrate against his lips.
He groaned softly writhing under him, on the bed
The elder vampire blew on the budded nipple before smirking, dipping his hips.
He shivered "You're a bloody tease."
"And you love it," he chuckled low, sucking on his neck as he rummaged in the bedside cabinet. "Ugh....love, where did you pack it?"
He laughed his head falling back, "You bloody idiot." he chuckled. He leaned over trying to find it.
"I didn't pack it," Angel grumbled, burying his face in the crook of Spike's neck.
"Oh you're bloody kidding," he complained "The bathroom?" he asked hopefully
Angel sighed, getting up and plodding towards the bathroom. "It's not here, William."
"Seriously, who packs lube?" he asked complaining throwing his arm over his eyes. He sighed pushing himself up on his arms watching him.
Angel wandered in. "I didn't pack it.....or at least I don't think I did...."
He pouted softly and sighed looking at Angel and reaching out his hand for him. "We'll have to pick some up pet..." his eyes widened suddenly, "Might be some left over in the shop"
Angel smiled. "Well hey, of course!"
His smile faded, "I think that's all packed too." he complained.
Angel groaned, flopping on the bed onto his stomach.
He smiled fondly and leaned over kissing his shoulder "I love you pet," he whispered gently.
"I love you, too," smiled Angel, shifting his head to look at him.
He smiled gently looking at him his head on the coverlet, his fingers playing down Angel's back. He breathed out slowly, his eyes taking him in. "A publisher." he whispered.
"Hmmmm?" asked Angel, tilting his head, enjoying his touch. "What was that?"
His eyes looked down as he chewed on his lip. "When I said a new start...with the secret smile. I...was thinking..."
Angel shifted to sit up a little, his smile widening. "Yeah?" he asked. "That....Will, that'd be great. And you can do it, you know."
The blond had reverted back to the lost poet, his body on his side facing Angel as he traced a nervous pattern on his arm. "It'll probably get rejected," he murmured
"Don't be stupid," murmured Angel. "You're a fantastic poet, I wish you'd see that yourself".
He shrugged "No I mean...Publishing houses they get a lot every day." he whispered "They don't even look at a lot of them.
"They'll look at yours," said Angel firmly.
He smiled a little finally lifting unsure blue eyes up at him. "This is from your vast experience as a publisher is it?"
"No, this is from my vast experience of knowing your poetry," Angel smiled.
He smiled watching him before falling back and looking up at the ceiling. "I think perhaps you're a little biased
Angel leaned in, kissing him softly. "I know the truth, too, though."
He looked over to him, a vulnerable softness to his eyes at odds with his true age.
Angel nuzzled him lovingly. "Shhhh," he whispered. "You're a good poet."
He nodded "It's fucking terrifying." he whispered into his neck
"I'll be here for you," he promised quietly.
He nodded his arms coming around him. "I'm not promising it'll do well or anything."
"I'm sure it will," Angel smiled, kissing him gently.
He smiled a little tightening his hold on him ."Soft prat." he whispered.
"Always," Angel smiled back.
He looked at him and cupped his face before darting forward and taking a soft kiss.
Angel smiled, returning it lovingly.
Thanks love." he whispered
"What for?" he chuckled softly.
"For being a soft prat and for...taking me on...warts n' all I guess."
"I love you, and you don't have warts" Angel teased.
I bloody well know that. " he teased
"Good, just in case you were getting paranoid," he laughed.
He grinned, "No I know I'm gorgeous."
"Yes, you are," Angel chuckled
He smiled stealing a kiss before burying his face in his neck breathing him in.
Angel smiled, his fingers playing lazily through his hair. "Comfy?"
"Very," he whispered. "I might even forgive you for teasing me."
"Oh, really? I'd be honoured," Angel teased.
He grinned, "You'd better feel privileged."
"Oh really?" he chuckled.
"Course." he murmured with a smile
Angel chuckled, nuzzling his throat. "Hmmm."
He smiled softly, laughing a little as he curled into him tickling him
"Heeey!" Angel laughed, wriggling.
He grinned, continuing to persist.
"Quit it!" he laughed, trying to squirm away.
"No," he replied with grin pinning him as he tickled him.
Angel laughed, trying to buck him off. "Nooooooo."
He laughed bouncing off before clambering on again
Angel looked up at him with a chuckle. "You're causing trouble," he said, wriggling.
"For whom?" he asked laughing
"Bastard," he laughed, flopping back on the bed.
He grinned leaning down and kissing him sweetly. "Sorry"
"No you're not," he chuckled, kissing him back.
"Ok, I'm not but I can make you feel better about it."
"Oh?" asked Angel, arching his eyebrow.
"Not like that," he laughed
Angel chuckled. "Then what did you have in mind?"
"Nothing like that." he murmured kissing him.
"Just figured you know maybe I'll let you listen to mannilow or something"
"All my music is packed away," he smiled, returning the kiss, before pulling into his arms. "A cuddle will work, you know."
He smiled softly, "That’ll have to do." he whispered giving him a cuddle and a kiss.
"I like cuddles," replied the elder vampire, snuggling in.
"You're such an old man."
"Yes, I am getting closer to three hundred," Angel pointed out with a smile.
He smiled burrowing in as he closed his eyes. "Mmmmhmmm a geriatric"
"Shush, I am not," he said, his fingers playing in his hair as he settled in.
"What about when you reach 300?"
"Then I'll be older," said Angel with a smug smile.
"Way past a geriatric."
"Shush, you'll be there one day."
"You'll always be older love."
"Well, yes, okay." Angel chuckled, "Authority, and that."
"What authority?" he asked amused
"Being an older vampire," he beamed.
"That stopped working a long time ago."
"Hmmm, sometimes works," he smiled, nuzzling him.
"Rarely," he admitted.
"But it still does," he smiled.
"Only when I let it."
"So you say,"
"So I know." he replied sitting up
"Hmfh," said Angel eyeing him. "Cuddle over?"
He shook his head smiling reaching over and turning the light off, "We can move our stuff in the morning." he murmured before cuddling up again.
Angel smiled, snuggling in. "Hmmm, morning is good."
Spike smiled softly "Morning is better." He whispered tangling his legs with the older vampires.
"It is," Angel smiled, snuggling in close and closing his eyes.
Spike smiled watching him, he leaned in and kissed his eyelids. He then burrowed in closing his eyes softly as he sighed and settled quietly beside him.
Angel watched him a moment, before sighing, dropping off with a contented sigh
