I always wanted to learn how to make jewelry. In fact, I even went through a phase when I thought I could make my own earrings and necklaces. I even bought the materials, but like most "bright ideas" I lost interest.
Luckily for me, I got invited by Swarovski to join a class in jewelry making. They invited an American crystal jewelry designer LauraTimmons to teach a class during the Crystal Fair at department store at COEX.
Laura's style sounds quite simple, just crochet the crystals and create a bracelet. It sounded easy enough, but as soon as I saw the materials, I was transported back to high school where I struggled to crochet even a simple doily!
Luckily for me, Laura was so nice, and patient in teaching us the tricks. And I actually did it... of course, it took me like an hour to do it.
And here's a picture of what the bracelet is supposed to look like... Mine looked okay, but I take crappy photos. Laura was right, it doesn't really matter if it's perfect.

Hmm... maybe I'll buy some more crystals and try to make more!
