I kinda love the Steampunk World's Fair:

Can't wait to see the pics from hughcasey once he's waded through his 2000+ pics (*PHEW!*). I am excited to see what he comes up with (especially as he has photos from the 2 outfits I wore that I completely neglected to get photos of myself--and vice versa), though I don't envy him the job. 56 photos from my own camera were enough for me!
As for the con itself--it was incredible. Super fun and low drama as far as the actual con. The hotel and it's "Customer Service" were a nightmare and a joke, but the actual SPWF staff and attendees were fantastic. I know there was angst going on, but everyone was in high spirits. Hope there's a next year... Already can't wait til next year.
Until then, point me towards my pirate ship, and I'll wait for the airship scene to come back after Ren Faire season... hee hee! ;-)
