Halloween Switch-Up...
(Wow! Two Posts in one day! Insanity!)
Well, I just made an executive decision about my much-anticipated Halloween Costume... It will be appearing NEXT year.
I am running out of time to finish the corset-top sleeves & ruffle without rushing. I don't quite have the money to get my hair cut as planned. And I don't want to worry about splitting my faux-leather pants (which just BARELY fit right now) while wearing them at a gig all night... *sigh*
With this decision, I've decided that I will be spending my 29th year getting fit and svelte enough to do the lovely Alyson Hannigan justice, and to make myself feel GREAT about wearing my (terribly sexy) pants and this to-be-fantastic corset top... instead of just worried about not being able to breathe or tearing the fabric or something.
So... with "Vampire Willow" waiting in the wings until next Halloween season, there will be a very familiar character out this Halloween night... With a very familiar "swagger" and sporting several glamorous gig-night costume-tweaks...
I think it will be a very comfortable, sexy, and certainly appropriate kind of 29th Halloween-Birthday celebration costume, actually. I've never actually BEEN Jane Swallow (or a pirate) for Halloween night... and now I don't have to stress about rushing the V.W. costume into existence, and being only half-satisfied with it! Plus, I will match Aimee in her red & black. Woot!
