Best Compliment... EVER.
Jamien is unwittingly the biggest flatterer in the world.
I posted my response to a comment she made in the "Toast to Toast" entry I wrote "yesterday" (dated May 4) with the icon I used for this post... This was her response to that comment:
"This icon makes you look exactly like Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge when she's seducing him in the Elephant Suite! I imagine you saying... 'ooo...tiger!' everytime I see this one. Perhaps that was the entire concept behind this one. Just thought I'd share."
She thought it was another icon of ME? Lookin' like Ms. Kidman??? Could it be?
Even just that she thought I look like her at all, or that 'Satine' reminds her of me... Totally flattering.

PS. I'm glad I'm starting not to feel so... bogged down... lately. Like starting small last month, brushing off all attempts to re-dramatize my life and bring me back down, and only getting better.
Not that I'm flying...
But I'm suddenly starting to realize what he gave up: What I got.
For what he's got: ... ?
(Hopefully what he thinks he really "wants." But I have no insight.)
