In Warsaw, GoogleMaps doesn't have Streetview. I don't know if it was banned because of privacy concerns (Europe has had a much stronger reaction to this service than the US), or that Google just hasn't gotten around to it.
Instead, Google decided it would be awesome to use photos on Picasa and match them up with locations, meaning that you only get one shot, facing in only one direction, and who knows what the person was actually taking a photo of (usually not the buildings, but rather people, flowers, etc). And sometimes you get really unhelpful photos like
