French postal service

My package finally came from France, after about 7 weeks. This was all my books and clothes that I had to send home by mail because of BrusselsAirlines' shitty and expensive policy. Well, I think this photo says it all:

The package got completely manhandled. It ripped open at some point during the trip, not from the tape coming off but rather the cardboard completely tearing. They then taped and wired it up and it finally got here. Nothing seemed to be missing, but somehow a set of three pens made their way into my box. I'm glad everything's fine but I'm rather shocked at just how badly this package was treated. I had sent it on the cheapest possible rate because the "insured" rate would have resulted in another 60€ added to the cost. Still, you'd think that after paying more than 100€ you'd get a little better service than that... I'm glad I didn't pack any wine!
