Mail call!
Crapola! I laid down for a "nap" at 4 this afternoon and just woke up 15 minutes ago. This whole waking up at 6am thing is going to take some getting used to.
I got some pretty awesome things in the mail today. My parents sent two letters with pictures from the last time I was in NJ. It hit a nostalgic chord seeing the family and New Jersey in the spring.
I also got a package from my friend Brianna in Seattle. She had been managing a book signing for Amy Sedaris at a local bookstore and got me a personally autographed copy of Amy Sedaris' new book. I'm so jealous that Brianna's career lets her meet all these famous people. Apparently "graduate student in women studies" is just a fancy way of saying "social agent to the stars". Maybe I should take up "women studies" too. In any case, I really love the book. It's so funny and even the autograph from Amy is great: "Dear Paul, Loser!, Amy Sedaris".
