Gazing at the pictures that claim her wall, she hopes that one day in wonder, that she will regain her childish youth and be able to play the game of chase in the failing summer light once more. The slightly over sized teddy bear in the corner comes to life and points to his picture.

"Remember the good ol'days?" He said, pointing to the picture of a young girl holding him, dressed in stripes and girl attire. She smiles, and nods.

"I do. Do you remember that day where I thought I was too old for kisses and hugged Marcus Rider instead?" The bear let out a bark of a laugh and continued to giggle as she smiled fondly at the memory. Staring out her window she decided to get up, the bear frowned.

"You're not suppose to go outside." She nodded and pulled out a bright, hideous yellow cloak. There by the door was a throw over bag. He was still frowning as she carefully went down the stairs, the yellow cloak being thrown over her. He stood in front of the bag.

"If you're going I demand to come." She paused and mused. Should she bring him?

"Sure, come along." He nodded and grabbed his usual red scarf and wrapped it around himself. She gave a gentle smile and opened the door. They walked for a long time, until they met the ocean and she wander to sit under a tree. The bear sat beside her, covered in dirt and just about ready to pass-out. She too was ready to just let her body go.

"Do you remember the city? The one I lived in when I was a child? When I first got you?" The bear, who had flopped down, sat up and looked at her strangely.

"Yes, of course I do. I have a perfect memory, just like you wanted me too." She nodded.

"That's right. I suppose you do. Do you remember that day, the day it rained as we left the city down that one street we never usually went down?" He did.

"The people in the rain?" She nodded.

"All those souls. I think it's time I joined them." ~ A little while later a little girl, dressed in strips ran down the beach, playing and laughing with no one but herself. She paused when she found a teddy bear, dressed with a a red scarf and holding a throw sack sitting beside a yellow cloak. She stared in awe.

"Who are you?" She asked the bear.

"A old friend." He replied. She jumped up, smiling and grabbed his hand dragging him from the way that she came from. She left the cloak but took the sack.

The lady was smiling form the sky.
