Sunday AM, I've been wanting to do this for some weeks now, go shooting. I also knew Borderpilot and kalaharifox were suffering itchy trigger fingers. The boys showed up shortly after 10AM, Andrew jazzing to test drive a Stevens 77A 12 guage shotgun he plans to buy off me, plus exercise his Ruger 10/22. I went through my Big Box o' Ammo last year, making a list and counting it twice and let's just say I really need to thin it out a bit. Reloading is a soothing activity but then when you're done you've got this big pile of cartridges.

I was down in League City last week but stupidly failed to stop by the range down there to see if they ever got that deeply rutted dirt/mud road paved since my last visit (driving a big truck back then I nearly broke an axle on it; driving a small car now would make it unthinkable).

M14? Not an M1A? An actual full-auto M14? That would indeed be cool. Or is this a semi-auto down-conversion from a stock M14? I'm interested. :)
