The next lecture that I want to see (I've just about had my fill of lectures, to be honest) is in 15 minutes, so this is going to have to be brief.
Welcome to famous South Street! There is this guy who bought land and a building here and he decorates it with trash. Mostly broken pottery, glass, mirrors and bicycle wheels. I'm not much of a photographer, but here are a few pictures of that:
We went yesterday (friday), and it was gated off. Apparently you can go in on weekends from 12-5. I'm saying this in case Michael and Courtney ever feel like taking a drive to Philly. I bet they would get some great photos from this.
Me, trying to be a photographer and not succeeding.
Independence National Park/The Liberty Bell (which has a house since last time I was here)
The second National Bank of the US. The first was nearby as well, but we didn't go see it.
The Ben Franklin house
Independence Hall
Thomas Jefferson in "The Signer". A very oddly posed statue
Gandhi and the Liberty Bell
The liberty bell. Sorry for the odd angle, but there were so many people around it was hard to get a good picture without strangers in it.
