Westercon 66 (2013) news
This weekend bovil and I attended Westercon 64 in San Jose.
Due to a confluence of happy circumstances with the Fairmont we acquired a free upgrade of our room to a suite, so we asked that it be put on the party floor so the London in 2014 Worldcon bid could use our parlor one night for a bid party.

Happy Anniversary to the Love of my Life
13 years ago bovil and I met in St. Louis in the hospitality suite the night before Costume-Con 16 began, and we're still going strong.
6 years ago TODAY we united our families in a ceremony at Natural Bridges State Beach in front of a circle of forty-odd friends.

This morning I was planning to skip my morning workout (given my 5-day a week gym habit, you need to understand that's not a casual decision) to get in line and vote first thing this morning instead.
