Lan stared blankly at the maths question in front of her with her brow furrowed. She had been trying to solve it for the past ten minutes. Sighing silently, she decided to ask her roommate for help.
'Wan Wan?' she asked without turning around.
'Wan Wan?' she asked again after getting no response.
'Omo! Sooo cute!!!'
Lan rolled her eyes slightly at the squeal and looked over her shoulder. Sure enough, her roommate, as usual, had her eyes glued to her laptop and had her earphones on, most probably turned on to full volume.
'WAN WAN!!!' Lan shouted exasperated, before storming over to pull out Wan Xin's earphones.
'Hey! I was just watching the fancams I took from Super Show 3!' whined Wan Wan.
'Again? You've watched it more than fifty times already!'
'No, I haven't! I think it's only been about twenty times!'
'Only? Twenty times is only? You are too obsessed with Super Junior! Especially Sungmin!'
'Yes, I know. I wonder if I should not have gone for Super Show 3. I've gotten even more obsessed with him since then.' Wan Wan sighed before pushing her laptop aside and turning to help Lan.
However hard she tried to concentrate, she could not find the solution to the maths problem as the music was still ringing in her ears. Lan watched with a mixture of amusement and frustration as Wan Wan began humming Perfection while tapping her foot.
'WANNNNNN WANNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!' Lan screeched.
Wan Wan jumped slightly before looking up to meet the glare of an extremely annoyed Lan. Scratching her head, she grinned sheepishly at Lan.
Lan sighed and plopped herself down onto the bed beside Wan Wan. 'Seriously, Wan Wan, you need to concentrate more on your studies. The O-Level's examination is coming at the end of this year. Besides, Sungmin has millions of fans all over the world. I doubt he will pay any special attention to you.'
'I know, I know.' Wan Wan said frowning slightly. 'But I...'
Wan Wan was rudely interrupted by an announcement.
'Sorry for the interruption. Now, we will have some guests staying in Block A. I think most of you will recognize them when you see them. *laughter in the background* Although, I think they will be disguised. Please be friendly and do not attack them. Thank you.'
'What was that about?' Wan Wan wondered aloud. 'Why would we know them? I suppose they mean the Nanyang girls will know them. I wish that the Nanyang girls aren't given special treatment all the time. Why are they going to be disguised? And what was that about us attacking them? Why would we do so?'
Lan shrugged, also looking confused. 'Never mind, we will find out soon. But can you please help me with this question first?'
With Wan Wan's help, Lan solved the question and, to Lan's annoyance, Wan Wan returned to her computer.
'Wan Wan! It's already 7:20. Are you going to have dinner?' Lan asked.
'Oh ya! I lost track of time! Thanks Lan!' Wan Wan yelled, grabbing her meal card and dashing hurriedly out of the room. Lan shook her head at her roommate's behaviour before returning to her revision.
'Hi!' Wan Wan said, walking over to where Shuyan and Decen were eating their dinner.
Ding dong
'Oh no! I need to roll call!' Wan Wan shouted over her shoulder as she dashed to the biometric reader outside the office. She was in such a hurry that she rammed right into a man standing at the foot of the steps.
Bam! Crash!
Wan Wan fell onto the ground next to the stranger whom she had knocked into.
'Oh I'm so sorry!' she said before looking up at him.
The sunglasses and the cap he had worn had been knocked off by the impact and Wan Wan could see his face clearly.
'Oh My G...' was all she could say before he covered her mouth with his hand and dragged her away.
